Share Peace of Mind: Recommending Forethought's Free Basic Plan
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to use the Forethought app, regardless of their budget. Whether you're interested in a simple, printable document to share with a trusted individual or considering our premium plans, Forethought is designed to be accessible for all.
So, what does our Free Basic Plan offer? Let's walk through the steps to ensure your Forethought Plan is comprehensive enough to guide your loved ones in taking care of your wishes:
Step 1: Identify Your Contacts
Make a list of people who should be notified when you’re gone. This could include friends, neighbors, co-workers, and healthcare providers like your family doctor or dentist.
Step 2: Financial and Online Accounts
Note down important accounts such as your bank, insurance, utilities, and subscriptions. Don't forget to include usernames (but no passwords!) for social media platforms. If you have important legal documents like a will or living trust, make sure to indicate where these can be found.
Step 3: Personal Belongings and Pets
If you have specific wishes for personal items or heirlooms, list them along with any special instructions. If you have pets, include care instructions to ensure their well-being.
Step 4: Review Your Plan
Once you've entered all your information, tap the "Vault PDF" button on the Forethought app's main screen to view your plan. Take a moment to review it from the perspective of your loved ones. Is everything clear and understandable?
Step 5: Print or Share Digitally
Depending on your device and printer, you may be able to print directly from the Plan preview. Alternatively, you can send the PDF to your computer for printing. If you prefer, you can also share the document digitally with someone you trust.
Step 6: Keep It Updated
Life changes, and so should your Forethought Plan. Make it a habit to review and update your plan every few months.
That's all there is to it! We have no hidden fees or agendas. All we ask is that you spread the word about Forethought. We welcome your feedback and suggestions at forethought@mobileanswer.com.
